 Mechatronics

Mechatronics engineering, also called Mechatronics for short, is an interdisciplinary branch of engineering that focuses on the integration of mechanical, electrical, electronic and software control systems. Designing such a mechatronic system requires a delicate balancing of all four of these domains in order to create the optimal functional system.

The way to create these optimal mechatronics systems is to make use of several formal design methods, such as modeling and simulation, systems engineering, systems architecting and automatic code generation. In this way the design complexity can be managed well.

Mechatronic systems can be found in all sorts of application domains such as Automotive, Medical or Defense. VeXtronics has specialized itself in designing mechatronic systems specifically for the agricultural domain.
