Mechatronics
Mechatronics is defined by the combination mechanical, electrical, control and computer systems. Designing such a mechatronics system requires a delicate balancing of the combination of all four of these domains in order for the total system to function optimally.
In order to create these optimal mechatronics systems several formal design methods are used, such as modeling and simulation, systems engineering, systems architecting and automatic code generation. In this way the complexity can be managed well while keeping focus on the delicate mechatronic balancing act.
Mechatronic systems can be found in all sorts of domains. VeXtronics has specialized itself in mechatronics design for the agricultural domain.
