Mechatronics

Mechatronics is a combination of mechanical, electrical, control and computer systems. Designing such a mechatronics system requires a delicate balancing of the combination of all four domains in order for the total system to function as optimal as possible.

In order to create these optimal systems several formal methods are used in the design process, such as modeling and simulation, systems engineering, systems architecting and model based design techniques. In this way the complexity can be managed while designing the balanced mechatronic system.

Mechatronic systems can be found in all sorts of domains. VeXtronics has specialized itself in mechatronics for the agricultural domain.
